University of Basrah Organizes a Moment of Silence to Commemorate the Victims of the Genocide
The College of Education for Women at the University of Basrah organized a moment of silence to commemorate the souls of all Iraqi martyrs and victims of the genocide on the National Day of the Yazidis and other Iraqi communities.
The dean of the college, his assistants for academic and administrative affairs, and a number of academic and administrative department officials participated in the moment.
The organizers recalled the crimes committed by the terrorist organization ISIS against the Iraqi people, Arabs, Kurds, and other communities, especially the Yazidi community.
They emphasized that the genocide committed against the Yazidi community is one of the tragedies of direct attacks against this defenseless community, and that our national and humanitarian duty calls upon us to serve the families of the victims and provide them with appropriate compensation.
