Master's Thesis at the University of Basrah Examines the Social Problems of Slum dwellers in the City of Abu Al-Khaseeb
A master's thesis at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah examined the social problems of slum dwellers in the city of Abu Al-Khaseeb – a geographical study.
The thesis, presented by student Nadia Fakher Hussein, aims to understand the reality of slum dwellers in the city of Abu Al-Khaseeb and to demonstrate the spatial distribution of slum dwellers and their levels from one year to the next.
The thesis includes four chapters, in which the student discusses the theoretical basis and concepts of the study, the spatial distribution of slum dwellers in the city of Abu Al-Khaseeb, some characteristics of slum dwellers, the trends and causes of slum dwellers' movement in the city of Abu Al-Khaseeb, and the social impacts of slum dwellers in the city of Abu Al-Khaseeb.
