University of Basrah Serves Arbaeen Pilgrims
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah took part in the university’s mawkib dedicated to serving the pilgrims of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), as part of the annual activities organized by the university to commemorate this occasion.
The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Mohammed Al-Shawi, along with his assistants, a number of faculty members, and students.
The college provided a variety of services, including water, refreshments, medical care, and guidance, in addition to organizing the movement of pilgrims.
Dr. Al-Shawi affirmed that this participation reflects the college’s commitment to community service and reinforces the human values of love and service for the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), as well as its role in promoting the spirit of solidarity and cooperation during religious and national occasions.
