Faculty Member from the University of Basrah Participates in a Scientific Conference in Malaysia
Dr. Alaa Mohammed Sadhkhan, a faculty member at the College of Agriculture, University of Basrah, participated in the 3rd International Conference on Applied Sciences and Advanced Technology, organized virtually in Malaysia by Scientific Events Gate. She contributed both as a lecturer and as a member of the conference’s scientific committee.
Her participation included delivering a lecture entitled “Modern Methods for Detecting Meat Adulteration”, in which she addressed the nutritional value of meat, the common types of adulteration found in meat products, and provided a comparative analysis between traditional detection methods and more accurate and effective modern analytical techniques. She emphasized that these advanced technologies play a vital role in combating fraud and protecting consumers in local markets.
