The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah examined a master’s thesis on the impact of capital structure on the financial performance of industrial companies listed on the Iraq Stock Exchange during the period 2014–2023.
The study, presented by researcher Hanadi Mushrif Abdulaziz, aimed to analyze the components of capital structure and measure their financial efficiency through liquidity and profitability indicators, as well as to test the effect of debt ratios and equity on financial performance.
The findings revealed that a balanced mix of financing sources contributes to improving financial efficiency and performance, compared to excessive reliance on a single source.
