The dissertation, submitted by Wafaa Salman Hassan, aimed to analyze the current state of the industrial workforce in the province, identify the major challenges it faces, and propose practical and suitable solutions.
The study examined key geographical factors such as location, infrastructure, and proximity to resources.
Findings revealed significant statistics: Basrah’s population reached 3,253,338, while the total workforce in large manufacturing industries amounted to 23,438 workers, distributed across 120 industrial establishments.
