Master's Thesis at the University of Basrah Examines Routing Protocol Path Error Recovery in Virtual Networks
The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Basrah has researched a master's thesis that examined routing protocol path error recovery in virtual networks.
The thesis, presented by student Ibrahim Sadiq Abdul-Amir, aimed to ensure reliable data transmission in dynamic networks that are prone to failures. Path failures resulting from links, node movement, or congestion lead to data loss, increased access time, and decreased throughput.
The study also highlighted current routing protocols, demonstrating the limitations of traditional recovery methods in terms of high cost, convergence delays, and poor resource utilization efficiency.
