University of Basrah Organizes the “Three-Minute Thesis” Competition
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized the international competition Three-Minute Thesis (3MT), which was held for the first time at the university.
The competition featured concise presentations of research theses, limited to only three minutes, delivered in a clear and accessible scientific manner before a specialized academic committee and an interested scholarly audience.
Seven postgraduate students from various scientific disciplines participated in the event. The first place was awarded to student Muhannad Hassan Lafta for his research project in the field of Preventive Internal Medicine.
This pioneering initiative represents a milestone for the University of Basrah, as it provides a unique opportunity for students to practice presenting their research ideas with clarity and brevity, while also opening new horizons for both students and researchers.
