PhD Dissertation at University of Basrah Explores Value-Based Performance
A PhD dissertation at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Basrah, examined the role of situational determinants in achieving value-based performance, with ownership structure as a mediating variable. The study provided an analytical investigation of a sample of 10 Iraqi banks listed on the Iraq Stock Exchange during the period 2012–2023.
The dissertation, presented by Fatima Ahmed Abdul-Jalil, aimed to highlight the effect of situational determinants on value-based performance in the presence of ownership structure as a mediator, through a longitudinal analysis covering 12 years.
The findings revealed a significant impact of situational determinants on value-based performance within the context of ownership structure, underscoring the importance of governance and organizational factors in enhancing financial outcomes.
