President of the University of Basrah Directs Facilitation of Procedures for Citizens and Employees
The President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem Al-Asadi, received a group of citizens and employees to listen to their concerns and address their requests.
During the meeting, Al-Asadi emphasized that direct communication with community members is a core principle of the university’s mission. He highlighted the importance of resolving pending issues swiftly and transparently, noting that such meetings are the most effective means to address legal and administrative matters.
He further explained that the university continuously follows up on all administrative and legal cases raised in these meetings, in direct coordination with the concerned departments inside and outside the university. The aim, he stressed, is to ensure that the law is applied fairly and equitably to all.
These meetings reflect the university’s commitment to its social responsibility, as its role extends beyond education and research to include providing public services and addressing citizens’ needs. This initiative seeks to make the university an institution more closely connected to the community and its members.
