University of Basrah Organizes Training Course on Mastery of Qur’anic Recitation Rules
The Central Library at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Center for Persian Language Studies and Education, organized a training course on mastering the rules of Qur’anic recitation and tajwīd for female staff members.
The course, delivered by Qur’anic competition judge Ms. Noor Ali Hussein, included both theoretical and practical exercises on proper pronunciation, mastery of articulation points, correct breathing, as well as the rules of idghām, madd, waqf, ibtidāʾ, and intihāʾ. It also emphasized Qur’anic reflection, attentive listening, and adherence to the etiquettes of recitation.
