University of Basrah Studies Teaching Competence and Its Relationship with Body Language Communication Skills among Teachers
A master’s thesis at the College of Education for Women, University of Basrah, investigated teaching competence and its relationship with body language communication skills among primary school teachers in Basrah Governorate.
The study, conducted by researcher Amani Taha Saleh, aimed to identify the key teaching competencies required for primary school teachers, assess the extent to which body language communication skills are present among them, and explore the importance of the relationship between teaching competence and body language skills.
The thesis recommended increasing efforts to enhance teaching competence in line with societal developments, and raising awareness among faculty members about the importance of mastering body language communication skills, given their tangible positive impact in both the short and long term.
