University of Basrah Explores the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in the Prophet's (peace be upon him and his family) Commandments: Intellectual Dimensions and Practical Reality
A PhD thesis at the College of Education for Girls, titled "The Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in the Prophet's (peace be upon him and his family) commandments: intellectual dimensions and practical reality - an analytical study," was presented.
The study, presented by researcher Duaa Adnan Ramadan, aimed to demonstrate the importance of the Prophet's (peace be upon him and his family) commandments regarding the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). These commandments varied in religious, scientific, political, social, and economic dimensions, and had a practical reality that varied among Muslims according to their intellectual and ideological affiliations, ranging from supporters to opponents.
The message concluded that the commandments of the Noble Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) are of great importance and must be followed and not violated. Their binding dimension is based on a divine order, including the commandments specific to his family, peace be upon them, which the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) explained, detailing their religious and worldly status. He emphasized the importance of the interconnectedness between the systems of prophethood and imamate to complete the divine project in its theoretical and practical dimensions.
