University of Basrah Holds Summer Training Forum to Prepare Students for the Job Market
The Career Development, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Education for Human Sciences, University of Basrah, under the supervision of the main Career Development and Employment Center and in cooperation with Siraj Al-Ma’rifa Training and Development Company, organized the 2025 Summer Training Forum for a group of students and graduates from the Department of English.
The forum aimed to equip participants with the necessary skills aligned with the requirements of the job market.
Supervised by faculty member Muna Mohammed Ali, the forum included a series of theoretical and practical training courses on the use of English in different professional contexts, as well as the development of participants’ skills to enhance their competencies and improve their employment opportunities.
This forum comes as part of a series of activities implemented by the university to strengthen the readiness of students and graduates to enter the labor market and to achieve integration between the academic and practical aspects of education.
