University of Basrah Holds an Expanded Meeting to Develop Administrative Procedures
The Assistant President of the University of Basrah for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Ayman Saleh Naama, chaired an expanded meeting that brought together the assistant deans for administrative affairs from all colleges.
The meeting aimed to discuss several key topics to ensure the efficient progress of administrative work.
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the importance of adhering to ministerial directives, including official working hours, to guarantee staff presence and the provision of services to students and visitors at the designated times.
The discussion also highlighted the need to review the job descriptions of all administrative staff to ensure the proper distribution of tasks in line with qualifications and expertise, thereby enhancing overall performance.
In addition, the meeting addressed civil defense procedures and the necessary plans to ensure the safety of buildings, staff, and students. This included reviewing and updating safety systems and conducting regular drills on evacuation and emergency protocols.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Ayman Saleh Naama stressed the importance of coordination and joint efforts to unify visions and overcome challenges, with the goal of creating an effective and productive administrative environment that supports the university’s educational and academic mission.
