University of Basrah Holds a Workshop on the Budget Division
The University of Basrah held a specialized workshop on the financial aspects and practical applications related to the work of the Budget Division. The workshop was attended by specialists and those involved in financial, auditing, and budgeting affairs across all departments.
The workshop included a lecture delivered by Dr. Ali Naeem, Head of the Budget Department in the Administrative and Financial Department of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, on basic financial and administrative procedures, starting with the mechanisms for transferring financial allocations and how to handle bonuses and promotions. The workshop also addressed the importance of preparing the trial balance and final accounts, and responding to memoranda from the Board of Supreme Audit in accordance with government regulations.
The workshop generally aimed to raise the efficiency of administrative and financial personnel, provide them with the necessary knowledge to deal with financial and administrative challenges with a high level of professionalism, and enhance the practical skills of specialists in this field.
