The University of Basrah examines the impact of the Master Minds strategy on academic achievement and the development of soft skills
A master’s thesis at the College of Education for Women, University of Basrah, investigated the impact of the Master Minds strategy on science achievement among fifth-grade elementary schoolgirls.
The thesis, submitted by researcher Ruaa Mohammed Ali, aimed to identify the effect of the Master Minds strategy on students’ achievement in science and on the development of their skills.
The findings confirmed the effectiveness of using the Master Minds strategy in raising students’ academic achievement, validating what many modern studies and educational theories emphasize—that the student should be the core of the educational process, from which it begins and at which it ends. This principle was observed in the Master Minds strategy, which also proved effective in enhancing soft skills among the study sample. Moreover, the element of breaking classroom routine and creating excitement was evident among the students.
