University of Basrah Academic Publishes Research in an International Journal
Dr. Qutaiba Abdul Kareem Qasim, a faculty member at the College of Pharmacy, University of Basrah, has published a research paper titled “Regenerative Tissue Engineering Strategies for Treating Human Infertility” in the American journal Stem Cell Reviews and Reports, which has an impact factor of 6.6 and is ranked in the first quartile (Q1) of Scopus.
The research aimed to shed light on the modern applications of regenerative tissue engineering in treating infertility, highlighting the future potential of these strategies as an effective therapeutic option and a promising hope for many couples suffering from infertility.
The study reviewed the latest advancements in regenerative tissue engineering and its role in infertility treatment, including innovative approaches based on stem cells, biomaterials, and growth factors.
