PhD Thesis at the University of Basrah Examines the Subtleties of Jokes in Investigating the Doctrines of Grammarians
A PhD thesis at the University of Basrah examined the subtleties of jokes in investigating the doctrines of grammarians, including the topic of exception, by Sheikh Ali Asghar bin Muhammad Hasan al-Sarjahi al-Qa'ini al-Birjandi (d. 1316 AH). (Study and investigation)
The thesis, presented by student Asaad Ahmed Jassim, aims to compare the three commentators under study in terms of presentation and use of evidence. It also aims to demonstrate each commentator's style in presenting the grammatical material, highlight the similarities and differences in interpreting grammatical rules, and highlight the scholarly contribution of each commentator in our study to the learner's understanding of the grammatical material.
The thesis includes five chapters, during which the student discusses the versions used in the investigation, the manuscript copies, and images of some Persian sources, from which the researcher proves the book's authenticity. The conclusion is then concluded.
