University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop on Civil Liability for Incitement to Drug Use
The College of Law at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on civil liability arising from incitement to drug use.
The workshop aimed to introduce the concept of civil liability under Iraqi law.
It featured a lecture delivered by Dr. Ali Abdul Aali Al-Asadi, a faculty member at the College, who explained the civil liability incurred by individuals who incite others to use drugs, as well as the right of the injured party to claim compensation for the harm suffered in accordance with the rules of tort liability, particularly Article (204) of the Iraqi Civil Code No. 40 of 1951.
