University of Basrah Organizes an Intensive Course on “Fundamental Techniques in Microbiology”
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a five-day intensive practical training course for postgraduate research students.
The course included lectures delivered by a distinguished group of faculty members from the Department of Microbiology, presenting a comprehensive set of essential skills. The training began with the preparation of various culture media and extended to methods of properly preserving microbial samples to ensure their viability and suitability for research purposes.
The course emphasized preparing students for accurate and safe laboratory work, enabling them to obtain reliable results, while also contributing to the completion of research in less time and with reduced effort.
