University of Basrah Welcomes Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education
The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah welcomed Dr. Alaa Abdul Hassan Atiya, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, accompanied by University President Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, to review the college’s status and its academic programs.
The visit included an extended meeting with a group of students to discuss their opinions and suggestions regarding the progress of the educational process, as well as the challenges they face in some of the newly introduced programs.
The meeting was also attended by the assistant deans and department heads, who deliberated on ways to develop the programs and overcome obstacles.
Dr. Atiya emphasized the ministry’s interest in universities’ experiences with digital transformation, while Dr. Al-Asadi underscored the university’s commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance students’ skills and align education with labor market needs.
