University of Basrah Holds an Awareness Seminar on the Phenomenon of Suicide
The College of Marine Sciences at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Second Police College, organized an awareness seminar on the phenomenon of suicide.
The seminar aimed to enhance community understanding of suicide and its underlying causes, raise awareness among attendees about methods of psychological and social support for individuals at risk, and provide information on how to identify warning signs of suicidal behavior.
The event featured a lecture delivered by Brigadier Hussein Faleh Neama, who addressed various aspects of the issue, including its psychological and social causes, as well as strategies for prevention and treatment.
