University of Basrah Holds Flag-Raising Ceremony in Celebration of Iraqi National Day
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah organized a flag-raising ceremony to mark the Iraqi National Day, with the participation of faculty members, staff, and students.
On this occasion, Dr. Sadiq Jabbar Mohsen, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, delivered a speech in which he emphasized the importance of commemorating national sacrifices and fostering a spirit of loyalty and belonging to Iraq.
The ceremony featured the official raising of the national flag in the college courtyard, in a patriotic atmosphere where students proudly expressed their Iraqi identity. The courtyard was adorned with flags and national sashes, adding to the celebratory spirit.
The college administration affirmed that this event is part of a series of activities aimed at strengthening national values and instilling the principles of responsible citizenship among students and academic staff.
