University of Basrah Organizes a Seminar on Students’ Duties and Responsibilities Toward the University Campus
The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah organized a scientific seminar entitled “Duties and Responsibilities of Students Toward the University Campus”, as part of its awareness activities aimed at promoting a campus environment founded on discipline and mutual respect.
The seminar aimed to raise students’ awareness of their rights and responsibilities within the university campus, to reinforce the culture of respecting university regulations and policies, and to encourage active student participation in maintaining a safe and clean educational environment.
The seminar, presented by faculty members Noor Ahmed Hameed and Aqeela Riyadh Aboud, addressed the student’s responsibility toward themselves through commitment, diligence, and perseverance; their responsibility toward the campus by preserving public property and the university environment; and their responsibility toward their peers through building relationships based on cooperation and mutual respect.
The seminar concluded with recommendations emphasizing the importance of fostering a spirit of responsibility and belonging among students, in a way that reflects a positive image of both the university student and their academic institution.
