University of Basrah Continues to Raise Health Awareness with a Seminar on Communicable Diseases
Dr. Rahman Kadhim Mohsen, a faculty member at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah, delivered a seminar titled "The Dangers of Diseases Common to Humans and Animals." The seminar was held at the Agricultural Extension and Training Center affiliated with the Directorate of Agricultural Extension and Training, in cooperation with the Basra Veterinary Hospital.
The lecture aimed to introduce diseases common to humans and animals, highlight their dangers and methods of prevention, and explain the impact of these diseases on humans through communicable and common diseases.
Dr. Rahman also reviewed ways to combat them, highlighting the importance of vaccination programs and continuous field inspection of all animals, and caring for them to preserve human health, the environment, and livestock.
