University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop on the Bologna System Teaching Guide
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a workshop for faculty members titled "The Bologna System Teaching Guide." This workshop is part of the university's efforts to develop the educational process and implement modern academic standards.
The workshop, presented by Mr. Mohammed Adnan and Ms. Amina Kazim Ali, included a detailed explanation of the principles of the Bologna System and the mechanism for distributing academic credits according to the ECTS system. It also explained the stages of formative and summative assessment, and the mechanism for managing faculty accounts, including attendance records and student evaluations.
The workshop also addressed the relationship between the Bologna System and the Student Information System (SIS), and the services it provides in managing courses, organizing academic procedures, and facilitating follow-up within university institutions.
The workshop concluded by emphasizing the importance of familiarizing yourself with the requirements of the Bologna System and interacting with it, given its effective role in improving the quality of education and expanding opportunities for academic mobility between accredited universities.
