University of Basrah Receives a Delegation from the Chinese Company Anton Oil
The Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, Dr. Mufeed Turki Rasheed, received in his office a delegation from the Chinese company Anton Oil, which specializes in oilfield services. The visit came as part of efforts to strengthen scientific and practical cooperation between the university and the industrial and energy sectors.
During the visit, a field tour was organized in the college’s departments and scientific laboratories, where the delegation reviewed the infrastructure, research facilities, and available technologies. Discussions also addressed prospects for joint collaboration in areas related to training, development, and engineering applications in the oil sector.
The College reaffirmed its commitment to establishing channels of communication with reputable international companies to enrich its students and staff with up-to-date field expertise, while also enhancing opportunities for training and employment within the industrial sector.
