University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on Environmental Sustainability in Recycling
The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a workshop focusing on environmental sustainability in recycling.
The workshop aimed to explain the role of waste recycling in our daily lives and how to treat and reuse wastewater through preferred and safe biological methods.
Dr. Asia Fadhil Abdullah led the workshop, which included the participation of staff from the Directorate of Education of Basrah Governorate. The sessions covered strategies to reduce or eliminate pollution by recycling contaminants through biological methods, emphasizing approaches that are both environmentally beneficial and sustainable.
The workshop recommended the use of biological methods, including the utilization of native plants in our environment, which contribute to aesthetic value and improved air circulation.
