University of Basrah Organizes a Field Visit to the Kuwaiti Surgical Hospital
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a field visit to the Kuwaiti Surgical Hospital as part of its programs to enhance the practical skills of postgraduate students.
The visit aimed to familiarize students with the Fitek and ELISA devices available in the hospital’s Bacteriology Laboratory, highlighting their importance in conducting scientific research.
The visit, attended by several faculty members from the Microbiology Department and postgraduate students, included introductory lectures and practical demonstrations provided by the specialized staff operating the devices within the hospital.
The visit concluded with an emphasis on strengthening collaboration with health departments and organizing additional field visits to hospitals in the governorate, contributing to the exchange of expertise and the development of research and scientific consultation.
