University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on Water Pollution and Biological Treatment Methods
The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on water pollution, its sources, and treatment methods.
The workshop aimed to clarify the role of water pollution in our daily lives and how to utilize wastewater and re-purify it using safe, preferable biological methods.
The workshop, presented by Dr. Asia Fadel Abdullah, covered how to reduce or eliminate water pollution using physical, chemical, and biological methods, and which methods are most beneficial, environmentally valuable, and environmentally friendly.
The workshop recommended the importance of biological methods, including the use of native plants in our environment, which add aesthetic appeal and aeration.
