University of Basrah Organizes a Seminar on Water Pollution: Causes and Treatment Methods
The College of Science at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on Water Pollution: Causes and Treatment Methods in cooperation with the Basra Education Directorate.
The workshop aimed to identify water pollutants, their sources, and their harmful effects on human health.
The workshop, presented by Dr. Fadia Mushtaq Saleem, discussed methods for conserving water and treating polluted water.
The workshop recommended raising awareness among citizens, particularly school students, about rationalizing water consumption and ways to reduce water pollution. The teaching staff also recommended organizing student activities to convey information in simplified ways.
