University of Basrah Faculty Member Selected as a Scientific Reviewer for an Internationally Indexed Journal
Dr. Salem Ajir Bandar, a faculty member at the College of Agriculture, University of Basrah, has been selected as a scientific reviewer for the Journal of Biosystems Engineering.
Dr. Bandar explained that the journal focuses on publishing research in the fields of agricultural machinery engineering, renewable energy, food engineering, and agricultural processes. It also covers modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and biosensors in agricultural applications.
In addition, the journal addresses emerging disciplines including smart agriculture, nanotechnology, and big data analysis for the advancement of biosystems. It is published by Springer and has an impact factor of 2.4 for the year 2024, ranking in the second quartile (Q2).
