University of Basrah Organizes Scientific Seminar Titled “Between the Lecturer and the Student”: An Open Dialogue to Evaluate the Educational Relationship and the Effectiveness of Knowledge Delivery
The College of Administration and Economics – Al-Qurna, University of Basrah, organized a scientific seminar entitled “Between the Lecturer and the Student: An Open Dialogue to Evaluate the Educational Relationship and the Effectiveness of Knowledge Delivery.”
The seminar aimed to enhance communication channels between students and lecturers through an interactive dialogue that highlights the strengths and weaknesses in the educational relationship and explores ways to improve the effectiveness of knowledge delivery in the classroom, ensuring a more open, understanding, and productive learning environment.
Presented by Dr. Zahid Qasim Badan and Dr. Hasan Ouda Abdullah, the seminar covered several key topics, focusing on the importance of educational communication as the foundation of the academic relationship, the lecturer’s role in building trust and motivating students toward self-directed learning, and reviewing students’ feedback and suggestions regarding modern teaching methods and strategies for conveying scientific concepts clearly.
