University of Basrah Continues Infrastructure and Maintenance Works for Student Housing Complexes
The Department of Dormitory Affairs at the University of Basrah, in coordination with the Department of Construction and Projects, has continued implementing maintenance and rehabilitation works for student housing complexes as part of the university’s plans to develop infrastructure and improve the living environment for students.
The Director of the Department of Dormitory Affairs, Assistant Lecturer Mohammad Emad Al-Rubaie, stated that the works include maintenance of water and electricity networks, rehabilitation of buildings and public facilities, renovation of walkways, and garden cleaning, all under the direct supervision of both departments and according to specified schedules.
Al-Rubaie emphasized that these efforts are guided by the university presidency and aim to enhance and sustain service quality, ensuring a safe and comfortable residential environment for students.
