University of Basrah Organizes Symposium on Evaluating the Curriculum of the Field Crops Department
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah organized a symposium titled “Evaluating the Curriculum of the Field Crops Department and Its Relevance to the Labor Market,” aimed at discussing curriculum development in alignment with labor market requirements in accordance with the Bologna Process.
The symposium sought to enhance the quality and consistency of educational systems, thereby improving the efficiency of learning outcomes and their responsiveness to the needs of the agricultural sector.
The event, presented by Dr. Kareem Hanoon Mohsen and Dr. Khawla Rasheej Hassan, featured the participation of faculty members, students, and staff from the Basrah Directorate of Agriculture. Discussions focused on modernizing and updating curricula to keep pace with scientific advancements and the evolving demands of the labor market.
