University of Basrah Meets with Students Accepted into Study in Iraq Program
The Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Basrah, Dr. Nawfal Ali Al-Mubarak, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Jassim Mohammed Salman, met with a group of Lebanese students accepted into the College of Medicine at the University of Basrah at various academic levels. The meeting was held to discuss the Study in Iraq program, which is approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
This meeting was held to monitor the students' conditions and needs regarding their academic process, university housing, and transportation, to address any obstacles they face, and to ensure smooth running of their affairs.
Al-Mubarak stated that the program aims to promote cultural and educational exchange between Iraq and other countries and to provide educational opportunities for international students in various academic disciplines, with the aim of strengthening Iraq's position as a center of higher education in the region.
