College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah Achieves Second Place in the University Quranic Competition
Under the supervision and support of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Abdulhussein Tawfiq Shibli, the college secured second place in the university-level Quranic competition, which focused on the recitation, memorization, and interpretation of the Holy Quran, organized by the University of Basrah.
Two students from the college participated in the competition, with student Qasim Shahab Rahi from the Accounting Department achieving second place among students from all university colleges—an accomplishment that reflects the spirit of excellence and distinction demonstrated by the college’s students across academic, cultural, and religious fields.
