University of Basrah Organizes a Scientific Workshop on the Student Information System (SIS)
The College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basrah organized a specialized scientific workshop on the Student Information System (SIS) and the (HEPQ) application, as part of the college’s ongoing efforts to promote digital transformation and enhance academic and administrative operations.
The workshop aimed to introduce the mechanism and functions of the electronic SIS system and highlight its importance in managing student data, contributing to the simplification of academic and administrative procedures and supporting the university’s comprehensive digital transformation.
Presented by Dr. Shukri Shakir Al-Abbadi, Director of the Registration and Student Affairs Department, and Dr. Hisham Lateef Suwaidi, Director of the Information Technology Center, the workshop included a detailed explanation of the (HEPQ) application linked to the system and its method of use, which enhances the efficiency of academic data management at the university.
