The University of Basrah Organizes an Awareness Visit for Schoolgirls on Early Breast Cancer Detection
The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Basrah organized a field visit to Al-Asma’a Al-Husna Girls School with the aim of raising health awareness about the importance of early detection and prevention of breast cancer.
The visit sought to promote health education among students and teaching staff by emphasizing the crucial role of early screening in reducing incidence rates.
The visit included the participation of the College Media Unit Head, Lecturer Amani Hussein, along with several faculty members and students. The program featured an awareness lecture, distribution of informative leaflets, and educational gifts.
This initiative comes as part of the university’s ongoing activities to promote health awareness and serve the community.
