The University of Basrah Organizes an Online Seminar on Divorce as the First Step Toward Family Breakdown
The Center for Continuing Education at the University of Basrah, in collaboration with the College of Nursing, organized an online seminar titled “Divorce: The First Step Toward Family Breakdown.”
The seminar aimed to raise awareness among couples about the dangers of divorce and its negative effects on children and society, while emphasizing the role of educational, religious, and counseling institutions in mitigating this phenomenon.
Presented by Dr. Rafeef Abdul-Hafidh Al-Riyahi, Instructor Saif Jassim Mohammed Ali, and Dr. Iman Jassim Mohammed Ali, the seminar addressed the psychological, social, and economic causes of divorce, and offered a set of solutions and guidance to maintain family stability and promote family awareness.
