The University of Basrah Holds an Awareness Seminar on Women’s Cancer
The College of Medicine at the University of Basrah organized an awareness seminar on women’s cancer.
The seminar, presented by Pharmacist Dr. Zainab Qais Mohammed Ali, head of the Early Detection Unit at the Cancer Council of the Ministry of Health, addressed the most important methods for diagnosing breast and cervical cancer, their prevalence among women, and the procedures for regular screening and prevention. She also highlighted the most effective vaccines and emphasized the importance of organizing awareness campaigns for the early detection of breast and cervical cancer.
