University of Basrah Organizes Seminar on Women’s Cancer Diseases
The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah organized an educational seminar on women’s cancer diseases to raise and enhance health awareness among students and faculty members.
The seminar, presented by Dr. Zainab Qais Mohammed Ali, Head of the Early Detection Unit at the Cancer Council of the Ministry of Health, discussed the risks of breast cancer and emphasized the importance of intensifying awareness campaigns, as it is the most common cancer among women.
The seminar aimed to introduce participants to breast cancer, its stages, causes, symptoms, and risks to human life, as well as the main factors that increase the risk of developing the disease, and methods of diagnosis and prevention.
