University of Basrah Organizes a Seminar on the Impact of Oil Revenues on Banking Activity
The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah organized a seminar titled "The Impact of Oil Revenues on Banking Activity," analyzing liquidity indicators for a sample of Iraqi banks for the period (2008–2024).
The seminar, presented by Dr. Ahmed Jabr Salem and researcher Mayamin Majid Jawad, aimed to identify the nature of the relationship between fluctuations in oil revenues and the level of banking activity in Iraq.
The seminar addressed the impact of oil revenues on banking liquidity, presenting a descriptive and analytical approach to studying bank financial statements.
