University of Basrah Organizes a Lecture on Ethics and Professional Conduct in the Medical Field
The Center for Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized a lecture entitled “Ethics and Professional Conduct in the Medical Field”, as part of the sixth unit of the fifth Teaching Methods Course.
The lecture aimed to familiarize trainees with behaviors that contradict the ethics of the teaching profession and to highlight ways to promote proper professional conduct within the academic environment.
Delivered by Dr. Qutaiba Muslim Dawood and Dr. Mais Basil Jaleel, the lecture covered the principles of professional ethics, university conduct regulations, and the duties of faculty members toward students and colleagues within the campus.
The lecture recommended adherence to professional ethics and the rejection of negative behaviors, in order to foster an educational environment grounded in respect and responsibility.
