University of Basrah Organizes a Training Course on Biological and Chemical Safety in Laboratories
The College of Education in Al-Qurna at the University of Basrah organized a training course entitled “Biological and Chemical Safety in Research Laboratories.”
The course aimed to raise participants’ awareness of the concepts and procedures of biological safety, familiarize them with potential risks associated with handling materials and microorganisms, and train them in preventive measures and the safe use of laboratory equipment.
The course included a series of scientific lectures delivered by faculty members, addressing key topics related to safety and security within laboratory environments.
