University of Basrah Organizes a Lecture on the Difference Between Ethics and Professional Ethics in Education for Applied Specializations
The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basrah organized a lecture titled "The Difference Between Ethics and Professional Ethics in Education," as part of the sixth unit of the fifth teaching methods course in the applied specialization.
The lecture aimed to clarify the concept of ethics and professional ethics, distinguish between them, and introduce trainees to teacher ethics and their role in the educational process.
The lecture, delivered by Dr. Mustafa Abdul-Ridha Kadhim, addressed the importance of the ethical system and its sources, the educational theories associated with it, and the role of the teacher as a central focus of education.
The lecture recommended the development of a code of ethics for the teaching profession and the conduct of a passing test for practicing it.
