University of Basrah Honors Female Students Wearing the Zainabiyah Abaya
The College of Nursing at the University of Basrah participated in an honorary festival recognizing a group of female university students who wear the Zainabiyah abaya, an event hosted by the University of Basrah in appreciation of their commitment to authentic identity and the values embodied by Iraqi university women.
The ceremony was attended by Lecturer Jabbar Ameen, Director of Cultural Relations at the University of Basrah, who stated in his speech that this recognition aligns with the university’s vision of promoting noble values and fostering a culture of modesty and pride in religious and social identity among its female students. He also commended the students for presenting an honorable image that reflects the authenticity and enduring values of Iraqi society.
