University of Basrah Organizes a Scientific Workshop on Developing Researchers’ Scientific Publishing Skills
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah organized a specialized scientific workshop entitled “Developing Researchers’ Scientific Publishing Skills.”
The workshop aimed to enhance researchers’ abilities in managing research and publishing high-quality scientific work, while raising awareness of the importance of publication in advancing academic careers and increasing research impact.
Presented by Dr. Ammar Ramadan Badran, the workshop covered several key topics, including the fundamentals of preparing a research paper, selecting reputable scientific journals, and understanding global publishing standards.
The workshop emphasized the importance of adhering to research ethics, ensuring content quality and methodological accuracy, and avoiding publication in predatory journals.
