University of Basrah Organizes Educational Seminar on the Right to Health
The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Human Rights Unit, organized an educational seminar entitled “The Right to Health.”
The seminar aimed to raise awareness of the importance of this human right, highlight the state’s responsibility to provide equitable healthcare services, and promote cooperation to ensure everyone’s access to appropriate healthcare.
The seminar, presented by Dr. Saeed Kadhim Ahmed, addressed the concept of the right to health as one of the most fundamental human rights. He explained the legal and legislative aspects related to this right, as well as the role of health and academic institutions in promoting it within society.
This seminar is part of the scientific and awareness-raising activities organized by the college to solidify the principles of human rights and promote social responsibility.
